For the final three Test against England, the Indian cricket team does not know if star batsman Virat Kohli would be available. After choosing to skip the first two Test matches for “personal reasons,” fans and officials began to speculate about Kohli’s possible return to the game.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), according to a Times of India story, is unaware of Kohli’s intentions. Under the condition of anonymity, a BCCI official disclosed, “We haven’t heard anything from him on his return as yet.”

India’s problems are exacerbated by Kohli’s absence, as they are already without injured players Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul. Jadeja’s hamstring injury is thought to be more serious, perhaps keeping him out of action for the remainder of the series, even though Rahul’s return later in the series seems likely.

“Jadeja’s injury might be more serious, although Rahul might make a comeback later in this set. The BCCI official continued, “Let’s see what the NCA’s medical team has to say.

The BCCI has declared that Sarfaraz Khan, Saurabh Kumar, and Washington Sundar will be included in India’s squad in response to these defeats. The goal of this choice is to increase the team’s depth and fill in for injured players.

During the first Test in Hyderabad, Jadeja sustained a hamstring injury, and Rahul experienced right quadriceps pain. The medical staff at BCCI is still keeping an eye on them in the hopes of a speedy recovery.

Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shreyas Iyer, K.S. Bharat (wk), Dhruv Jurel (wk), Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Mukesh Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Avesh Khan, Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan, Washington Sundar, and Saurabh Kumar make up the newly reorganized India Test team, as per NDTV Sports.

India’s performance on the field will mostly depend on their capacity to adjust to the absence of important players, particularly the uncertainty surrounding Kohli’s comeback, with the series against England hanging in the balance. While supporters anxiously await news regarding Kohli’s condition, the team’s attention is still on conquering obstacles and playing well in the games that are left.
